Nestled in the heart of Rosemount, MN, Celts Irish Pub & Grill offers a lively and authentic Irish bar and restaurant experience that delights locals and visitors alike. This cozy neighborhood gem combines classic pub charm with a menu packed full of hearty, satisfying dishes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a celebration.
The culinary spotlight here shines on traditional Irish favorites alongside American comfort food classics, all expertly prepared to satisfy both the casual diner and the discerning palate. Must-try dishes include the renowned Hangover Burger, a juicy and flavor-packed creation that's perfect after a night out, and the beloved Truple Crown, a hearty meal that customers rave about. For those craving a taste of Ireland, their Shepherd’s Pie offers a rich, savory blend of tender meat and creamy mashed potatoes, while the Kilarny Chicken Sandwich delivers a crispy, tender bite complemented by vibrant flavors.
Celts also treats guests to expertly poured pints of Guinness—a staple for any Irish pub—alongside a drink menu that features refreshing options like Summer Shandy and classic choices such as Captain Morgan and Miller Lite. The bar is an inviting space, enhanced by a new patio that offers easy access and is perfect for relaxing with friends over a cold brew or their famously loaded fries, whether you opt for roast beef-topped, waffle fries, or classic tater tots.
Appetizer lovers will find plenty to love, especially the Battered Onion Rings, praised for their crispy, golden perfection, and the mini corn dogs which deliver nostalgic, bite-sized joy. The menu also caters thoughtfully to families, with a kids’ section featuring personal 9" pizzas and grilled cheese sandwiches, ensuring younger guests have their favorites covered. And don’t miss out on their piping-hot pizza selections, from classic cheese to savory sausage toppings.
Beyond the delicious food and drink, the atmosphere at Celts Irish Pub & Grill truly sets it apart. Customers often mention the friendly, attentive service—highlighted by staff like Jackie, whose professionalism and warmth leave lasting impressions—and the immaculate cleanliness that creates a comfortable dining environment. The pub’s spirit shines brightest during community events and special occasions; one touching example is when the staff organized an ugly Christmas sweater party for a family facing hardship, reflecting the genuine care and kindness that permeates this establishment.
While some patrons note that the Guinness pouring could be refined to perfect that iconic Irish experience, this detail does little to overshadow what Celts offers: a reliably welcoming spot with tasty fare and a vibrant atmosphere that feels like home. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick drink at the bar, indulging in the Sunday burger special, or gathering with friends to enjoy classic Irish fare, Celts Irish Pub & Grill promises a memorable and satisfying outing every time.
Always amazing service and great food! Today, the Triple Crown and dill pickle fries did not disappoint! Make sure to check out the daily specials and soups. Also, check out the Sunday burger special for only $7.00!
What a nice surprise! First, the vegetable steak soup was some of the most delicious soup I've ever tasted. Second, the place was immaculate clean and third and most impactful, was the service and wonderful disposition of the server that helped us. Her name is Jackie. Professional, courteous, kind, prompt and all with a smile. I will most definitely be back! Nice job!
Always a stop here for 1 or 2 during our travels abroad. Very friendly staff! We got to meet "Calvin" a regular from IGH Minnesota. He was a very friendly man who came after we did. He sat at the bar with us on the last barstool down on the end. It was time to go after playing Donna Summers 'Love to Love you Baby." Fun times! Very nice new patio, with easy access.
Celts is a nice little neighborhood hangout. Decent food and a fun atmosphere. However, when an establishment markets itself as an Irish pub, they should really train their staff how to correctly pour a Guinness. At Celts, a Guinness is poured like any other beer which ends up being mostly foam….
Although I have never been here, I would like to say that this is an amazing place! I suffered a brain aneurysm in October and one of the employees Maggie organized an ugly Christmas Sweater Party for my family to help us with Christmas. I don’t think anyone could be any kinder to people they have never met, so I’d like to say a tremendous Thank you to the staff and patrons for doing that! Also, a gigantic thank you to Maggie for organizing the whole party and thinking of our family. You are a truly kind and beautiful person for doing this!
Rosemount destination for comfort food. Fish and chips, way above average, pulled pork is huge and tasty burgers are reasonably priced and lots of choices. Active pub, very load when busy.
Nice smaller space. Interesting foods. I had the Mortimus Kane, pretty good. Great fries and service was great. Pull tabs seem to be a big draw and I'm guessing evenings or game nights would be pretty interesting. Seemed like there was 2 parts? I went in the back (larger parking) and went left to the bar, which also seemed to have another entrance on the front street. To the right in back was open, but seemed closed down??
I had a wonderful experience at Celts Irish Pub & Grill! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a night out with friends. The menu offers a great variety of dishes The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The drinks were well crafted, and the portions were generous. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxed pub vibe with delicious food and great service.
